Brian W Freeman
The Owner – Attorney At Law
Brian attended Biola University (La Mirada, CA) from 1999 to 2002, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science Information Systems (Computer Programming and Business). After college, he spent two years working with computers and technology; it was during this time he decided to pursue an exciting career in law.
After leaving a career in the technology industry, Brian attended Whittier Law School (Costa Mesa, CA) from 2004 to 2007. During that time he focused on the field of intellectual property (Copyrights, Trademarks, and Patents) and on criminal prosecution. He spent a year working for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office as a Certified Law Clerk.
Mr. Freeman is dedicated to helping hard-working individuals exercise their legal rights against the big and powerful insurance industry and governmental entities. The firm’s Federally registered trademark is “fighting for the Average Joe.”
Melissa Lyons, Esq.
Melissa Lyons brings experience from the defense side of Workers’ Compensation cases. Melissa joined the team in January 2020 with a desire and passion to help injured workers receive the medical and other benefits for which they are entitled. Melissa earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Riverside, in Business Administration, where she was recognized on the National Dean’s List for her academic achievements. Melissa earned her Juris Doctorate from Pacific Coast University, School of Law, while concurrently working as a defense Hearing Representative. In Melissa’s leisure time, she enjoys cycling, reading, cooking, and traveling. Melissa has a dog named Dolce, a 10 year old cocker spaniel, whom she loves to take to the dog park and to the beach.
Office Manager and Case Manager
Holly comes from a long background of customer service in many fields. Since joining Workers’ Compensation Lawyer, Inc. over 3 years ago, Holly has become an integral part of the team, achieving Office Manager status in 2018. Having gone through a workers’ compensation claim of her own, she really relates to the injured workers as they go through the process. In her spare time Holly can be found with her family at the gym, out hiking, or cooking new recipes.
Legal Assistant and Legal Filing Expert
Andrea ‘s experience in the workers compensation field began in 2006. She started as a secretary and worked her way up to legal assistant and our electronic filer. She has 12 years of experience in helping the injured worker get the help needed in a timely manner and making the process as smooth as possible. In her free time Andrea can be seen spending time with her family at gathering, the park or simply watching a movie at home.
Legal Assistant and Case Manager
Lucia has been in the workers compensation field since 2009, and joined Workers Compensation Lawyer, Inc. in 2018. She started out as a receptionist and worked her way up to a legal assistant over the past 10 years. She is very compassionate and has an easygoing nature. Her goal is to make sure clients are well informed, but most importantly at ease. She treats her clients like friends and will work hard to help them in such hard times. She enjoys going to sporting events, visiting breweries, eating great food and working out in her free time.

Marilupe has 4 years of workers’ compensation law experience. She joined Workers’ Compensation Lawyer, Inc. in 2018 as a legal assistant and hearing representative. She is a valuable asset to the team working hard fighting the insurance companies both in and out of court. In her spare time Marilupe enjoys going to the beach and movies with her family.

Amanda comes to the worker’s compensation field from a 20 year background in the customer service industry. A Seattle native, she moved to California in 2015 to start a new life and to be closer to her family. She left the service industry in 2019 to join Worker’s Compensation Lawyer, Inc., and ready to work hard in this rewarding new career. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys weightlifting, video games, cooking, and exploring California with her boyfriend.
